Thanks in advance for any replies to my problem here...

90hp 2 stroke Yamaha: the rest of the boat is getting electricity, but the motor seems to get no juice. I have taken apart all the little connectors I can, all in-line fuses are in tact, and have even been replaced. I get nothing when I turn the key, and nothing when I try to use the trim/tilt button on the side of the motor.

Any words of wisdom??

Thanks guys

roger. Yup, salt water use, but is very well cared for and has low hours. I will check it out. Thanks for the input. If there is voltage, ould it be the computer chips you think?

If you don't find power to the motor, check the wiring harness. Have someone wiggle the wire harness where it meets the motor cowling while you turn the key.

unplug the brown wire from the starter solniod
touch it to the 12V power on the soliniod it is the red wire
if the motor turns over, then you have a bad key switch, blown fuse in that wire, you will see it, or bad wiring
