I got a low oil level in my outboard (under cowling) oil tank and the engine shut back as it should. When I got home, I found that the oil transfer pump from the main oil tank would not run (then ran intermittantly). I replaced the transfer pump, gromett and filter. As soon as I powered it up, it filled the onboard tank to the normal level and shut off. Problem is that I still show an oil level alarm on my tach indicator (the green ball on the right). Both the level switch in the main tank and the one on the tank under the cowling check OK. Is there anything I am missing before I change out the CDI unit?
Thanks
