New outboard 60 efi with gear case damege

Hi i have bought an outboard on the 10th December 2010. This outboard is still new never taken in water now i have discovered that the gear case has a damage in the paint or in the material i think that it has not been checked by the quality control
What shall i do as i want it to be replaced ? Thanks jason
