40Hp Yamaha yr 2000 outboard

I have converted my manual start to an electric start on my 40Hp Yamaha outboard
Prior to conversion all was Ok and it ran well
Now I have no spark at all
The electric start is all ok but I have lost all spark
Any ideas as to where I look ?

unplug the white wire from cdi box
if you get spark your key switch is wired wrong

Thanks all for your ideas
It turned out it was the pulser coil had been damaged
Replaced and all good
