Old style motor to new style motor adapter harness?

I'm keeping the old style remote. Like a 70's model 40hp to a 95 40hp model. Does Mercury make a adapter harness to the newer style. Or what do I need to do?
 
You'll have to fabricate it yourself.

PS: I use a trailer connection between my old Mercs and the boat, placing the solenoid on the BOAT (which simplifies things greatly). Not hard to do.
