need help identifying year

Hi All,

I have an old Johnson Seahorse 4 Hp with the following numbers:

Model: J4BRG7A
Serial : E027772

Can anybody enlighten me as to the year, and where I could get a manual for same.

I am having a hard time with the model number as it is written please check the image below and see if one lookd more accurate.

Thank you for such a speedy reply. I had another look at the plate.....guess what (red Face !!!!) the model number reads J4BRCTA..... does that help?
