Hope you know, rpm needle jumps and batt lite flickers on 4jh4e

have check alt and connections but no luck,,,,do you know if the rpm is alt driven or fly wheel driven if fly wheel driven where can I find the spade connector in order to clean.

You should have the rpm sensor on the flywheel. I have the 4JH3-TE engine and that is where mine is located. Look at rear of engine and just above the transmission--near the top of the flywheel you should see the sensor--the sensor will be a screw-in type with a wire lead attached. You can slip the lead off and clean all the contacts. I would also check and clean, if not already done, all of the contacts on the back of the panel particularly those leading to the tach. I would also check/clean all battery connections and also the engine ground. I routinely clean contacts with sandpaper, CRC marine 656 or WD-40, and then apply anti-corrosive lube to contacts.
