9.8 Merc. 110 ?

I recently bought an "old" but new to me, a 14' flatbottom with a 9.8 merc 110. This is the smallest outboard I have ever owned. My previous boats, while out on the water, I always looked to make sure that water was pumping, (Looked for the stream out of the engine). My question is, where do I look for the water pumping out of this particular motor. I have not had it in the water yet due to the weather. I just want to gain a little knowledge about this outboard before I get there. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Install a new impeller first !!-----------------look for discharge at the back ( starboard side of the motor )

Good advice, but after owning/ repairing a few of them I've seen the Tell Tale outlet plug up, which makes you think it's not pumping. Try this: Remove the hose going to the Tell Tale and fire it up. If you see water coming out that hose, drill the Tell Tale out with a small drill. And change the impeller either way!
