Tilt gone, maually lifting 2004 F150 150 hp

I have released the pressure off of my tilt, by turning the screw counterclockwise. I was able to lift the motor about 2 inches and it stops like something is stopping it from going further. I checked to make sure the engine was in neutral. but still nothing. Does anyone have any ideas as to what may be holding me up from lifting this motor manually?

the screw is all the way opened. when i lift the motor it feels like i'm lifting into a wall it goes then stops immediately and i hear something like a gear stopping me. metal on metal sound. it makes me want to believe that the lever stop is hanging up, and stopping me from lifting it further.

It might be manual time to eyeball what might be restricting the movement.
If you have corrected this issue, please respond as we would like to be informed when this happens to us.
