Yamaha 115 4 stroke outboard help please.

I was going to change my spark plugs and I had to remove the plastic cover that is bolted to the valve cover. Naturally the bolts were frozen. I used my impact hammer driver to free them up. I guess I hit one a little too hard. The bolt and the mounting piece that the bolt screws into went inside the valve cover. I have felt around with a magnetic reach and can not find it. I guess my question is what can I do if anything other than taking everything apart to get to it? I am not even sure I can get to it if The valve cover comes off. Can it fall deeper inside the engine?

pull the valve cover( you have to change it anyway) and see where it went. don't rotate the engine until you do so, it could be hung up in the cam gear at the bottom of the head. If not it should be right there at the bottom of the head, I don't think the piece will go through the oil drain passage to the oil pan.
