Does anybody know how to rule out trigger coil, switch boxes? 1990 90hp

Hi all: I am still struggling with 1990 90hp Mariner engine. I am getting no output reading from trigger, and don't know how to read switch box output to know for
sure that they are good (or bad). Any info will be appreciated.

What readings do you get on the charge coil and trigger coils on your OHMETER.-----------Post the numbers.

I got everything the Seloc Manual says I should from the stator coil (is that your charge coil?), but for trigger coils,
I cannot get any reading either in Ohmeter or barely anything from volt meter (output).

I have a couple of those engines now to rebuild.-------------will take readings on charge coils and trigger coils later this afternoon.
