Suzuki DF 175 horn alarm

Anyone know of a simple way to test the alarm horn on a DF175? Is it supposed to beep when you turn on the key? I bought it used and hooked it up. Runs perfect but haven'theard the horn beep.
 
Many control boxes have a horn that beeps momentarily as a self check when ignition is turned " on "----------------It would be wise to learn how to check the horn in the box.-----------------Not that familiar with Suzuki boxes. ---Have helped many motor owners and showed how to test the horn by grounding the sender unit on the cylinderheads.
