rule 3700 has no pushing power

Water just sits in the hose.
The pump runs but I suppose is too weak to push the water.
I can blow threw the hose just fine.
It is wired up with a 10 gauge wire and a 20amp automatic switch
I verified pump motor direction and power is good to the pump.
Does Rule have a fixit program?
Has any of you taken one apart to examine the brushes?

Every rule pump I've seen will pump water if its impeller is clean & spinning and the inlets/outlets are open.

first check - impeller secure to the shaft?

Second check - you said the (outlet) hose if fine - so check to make sure nothing has fouled the impeller and the strainer flows.

last check - measure the current draw...a clamp on meter is ideal for a quick, non-invasive measurement. The current draw will vary with the head seen by the pump but should be close to the rated value (look on the pumps' data sheet) which will be much less than the recommended fuse size.

No exchange/fixit program that I'm aware of. If the pump is still within the warranty window, they are usually pretty good about getting the replacement out fast.

found out the problem was not enough voltage.
Pump is a 36 volt pump and I have a 12 volt system.
So the person who sold it to me as a 12 volt pump is getting it back.
And I will buy a genuine 12 volt pump.
