i have a johnson v4 85 hp? late 80's early 90's power head and an evinrude parts motor. i cannot find identification. where exactly is the id located?
 
Small plate on the port (left) transom bracket. Quarter sized core plug on the powerhead, usually on top near the port head gasket.
