Wanted carburetor for a 1992 9.9hp

Re: Wanted carburetor

Hey Tony,
There are multiple carburetors listed for that motor, but you can look the right one up here using the year and horsepower and have it shipped to you.
Hope that helps!

Re: Wanted carburetor

Hello Toneybear,

First you need to know the carburetor code on your carb. see below for the codes.
if you locate the codes here is a link to the exact part for the year model you will need the serial number to ensure accuracy and prevent any incorrect part hassle! mercury parts

WMC5A WMC5B WMC7 WMC7A WMC19 WMC19A)
WMC 17\17B\17C,18\18A\18B, 20/20A/20B,23

Re: Wanted carburetor

If it's a Gamefisher then I will most likely be a Force and not a Merc which changes things again.

Most of the Force built models used very old/discontinued Tillotson carbs which Merc stopped using in the 1970's or carbs that were procured especially for the Force line.

So first off, you need to correctly post exactly what motor you have, including the serial number. A 92 Gamefisher can not use standard Merc parts - these things were cobbled together, in some cases, with parts that never saw service on a (real) Merc and most in fact share parts with old Chryslers.
