Does anyone have the ohm values to test a rectifier for a 1986 Dt-85 ?? Also the ohm values for the optional replacement regulator/rectifier ?? I bought a used one from Ebay 2 years ago and I would like to test it before installing it. Honestly, I'm not even sure if it is the correct one. The wire color codes are the same and the red/yellow has a mating connector tucked inside the "connector box" that is unused on the motor. I just don't want to fry my charging coil.
Is there any way to cross reference the numbers on the reg/rect unit to see what it was from ?? The one I have is a Kokusan Denki and the numbers on it are RS 21444J5 .
I had health problems that did not permit me to even uncover the boat for the past two years. That's why I don't even remember what the reg/ rectifier was from. I thought it was for my DT-85 but now I have no recollection.
