Hello
I live in indonesia and have to get a new motor for a six meter aluminum center console dive boat. Its a toss up betwen the 2 stroke E85 and the 4 stroke 100BETX. I know that one is bigger and heavier. I have to contend with bad gas, worse repair services and ll the other things that come with indo. 2 strokes are common in these parts 4 are getting more so. It will get a two hundred hours of use a year and i will have a 10hp kicker next to it to get home when it craps out. I the boat will carry a medium load of gear and divers and make 20-50 miles runs
any ideas or thoughts would be helpful. I am leaning towards the two stroke as keeping it simple has never let me down in indo.
