I have a 2001 40hp Yamaha that stalled at idle and struggles at low rpm but once I get on it runs great. I noticed a lot of oil spots on the water at idle and thought the oil ingection may be faltered. How would I check that?
Other than that I was thinking fuel pump, filters are fine or ignition issues maybe coil, stata, How do I check them?
I changed the plugs right off mad no difference.
