I am installing a 1978 Merc 1400 Thunderbolt onto my 1969 Fabuglas Commodore Cabin Cruiser (19ft). The hull is rated to 165HP.. but I know it's gonna scream with this engine.
One thing I'd like to do is install my Vintage Airguide "Gasoline Mileage Indicator" Gauge. This is not much more than a glorified Vacuum gauge.. but I like it.
My question is... Where would I hook it up? Are there suitable ports on the carbs or intake? There's vacuum lines everywhere... but where would I get the best "signal"?
