1990 60hp evinrude upper mount

hi there i have a 1990 60hp evinrude with tiller steering.there seems to be exsesive play between steering arm and upper mount. moter still steers fine.there is a slight water drip on port side of engine coming from under housing cover.engine runs welland is cooling well. any info would be appreciated
 
Not familiar with your engine, but on all the others I have worked on the top mount is accessible only after the powerhead is removed. We are talking serious dissasembly, use of a propane torch, and lots of honest to goodness cussin.
