i have a johnson outboard motor that im trying to get some info on.the plate on the transom mount is no longer there so i dont have the model number.the couling says 25hp and i think its maybe a mid to late 70`s model but not sure. i got what i think is the serial number off the small silver disk that looks like a freeze plug on the crankcase [ P8537672 ] is there a way to use this number to get info on the motor....thanks for any help
