1GM10 cooling water

My engine alarm sounds after a few minutes and there is very little cooling water coming through.

I have replaced the impeller and checked that it is turning but when I take off a hose there is nothing coming through. The water intake is not blocked.

I can't find any hoses loose - any suggestions?
 
If you take hose off pump out let and run to bucket what flow do you get? If flow is ok at bucket there may be a built up of crap within engine or plumbing this happens over time, fill engine will vinigar and let soak for 24hrs ,check outlet on start up for results. If no flow at bucket check inlet valve inlet fiter and hose for delamination etc, face plate joint may be to thick or face plate worn if so this can be turned over also check cam for excessive wear
