I am running a 4 stroke, Yamaha 2003 yamaha 4 stroke tiller model.
When I go to take off the motor always wants to cut out and die just past troll speed. It is worse when it is cold but it does it even after hours of use. If I turn the accelerator quickly to take off it will die out, but if I slowly accelerate then it will kind of hesitate and ge up too full speed without dieing.
It has been doing this all year. What could it be?
Any ideas? Or do I need to take it to certified yamaha mechanic. Could it be just one of the carbs is out of tune?
