Help! - I need a .... wheel alignment???

Hi
Since I've had it my early 80's Invader ski boat with a early 80's Mariner 150 outboard will veer off to the right if you let go of the wheel. To turn left is stiff and requires a bit of muscle. Any ideas what is going on? Hate to show my ignorance but ... Is this steering a hydraulic system? - If it is hydraulic how come I can move the both the wheel and the motor with ease with no power? If it is hydraulic maybe it just needs more fluid? - where would I find a fill hole? - nothing on the steering wheel as I have seen in others - something at the motor?
Thanks much for all your help. Having an old girl like this makes me very grateful for such a great and helpful site as this.

Sorry but I didn't even know I had a trim tab. I guess if so if might not be straight and this is what is pulling me to the right?
Thanks

You bet, but undertand this: The trim tab is only good for a certain, narrow speed range. Above or below that speed range it will pull one side or the other.

Post a pic of your setup.Steering wheel and front of the motor.
It might be as simple as turning the trim tab(thingy just rear of the prop).
If it turns hard going left then turn the thingy left.J
