I have seen many tilt and trim questions on here and thought i would post a recent discovery on here.
My trim motor worked but would only go about 30 seconds then stop and only click. Carried out the usual checks but still played up.
On a recent fishing trip i decided to charge the battery over night even though the engine and all electrics were running ok. I also lubed all the grease nipples. Sure enough the unit is running perfectly now.
Goes to prove you really need to start at the basics.
