guys I have been dealing with a little miss on my motor checked and double checked everything with no luck, well I came to find out that I have water in my tank, well would 16 OZ of methanol would take care of that???? or would I have to completely drain about 25 gals of 50:1 gas/oil mix? my concern is the two stroke mix and the methanol, how safe would that be??? my concern is the dilution of the two stroke oil in to the methanol, any ideas or alternative route to deal with this???

Park the boat and let it sit for a week then pull the sending unit and pump the water out from the bottom of the tank, the water will settle at the bottom.

Alcohol attracts water!!! Causes condensation on inside of metal tank = water in tank!!! Try a gas dryer like seafoam added to your fuel or an inline water seperator.
