2000 200 EFI idles then dies

I have a 2000 200 EFI. Last time I was out it was running rough midrange, running fine at high end and idling fine but only for about 5 minutes. After idling for 5 minutes or so it would surge a bit then die. Shifting into neutral and restarting it would idle fine for another 5 minutes or so and do the same thing. Anybody have any thoughts on what the problem might be?

Do the basics:comp,spark,fuel.
Water in the fuel?Check the fuel filters.Drain the Vapor sep.
Ethanol is messing up a lot of motors.It's delaminating the inside of older hoses causing clogs in the carbs/injectors and fuel filter.Check for soft hoses and junk in the filter on the motor.Check the diaphram.J
 
Jerry, thanks for the response but what is the diaphram you are laking about in the last sentence? This is an EFI motor.
