milky spark plugs? 1986 150hp

boat idled rough and then stalls. i pulled the plugs and the bottom 2 plugs starboard side had a milky coating on them. water in the cylinder? i did a compression test and got 73 on all cylinders. does that rule out head gasket? how is the water in the cylinders?

Really ugly things, like corrosion on the tops of cylinder liners, "extra holes" in the head that the factory didn't put there, that type of thing. Try to keep the head and gasket as undisturbed as possible during removal. You can frequently study it and learn where your leak is by looking for "trails." Also, if the engine overheated recently, they love to warp heads. They are easy to true using a piece of fine sand paper and a piece of glass for a flat surface.
