1989 US marine engine starter

I am trying to figure out what kind of starter goes on a US marine engine built off the ford 351 block? And what starter will work?

There's a regular poster that swears by a shop called DBELECTRICAL.com. Check their www site and give them a call. I haven't used them so can't offer a first hand view. Did check their prices and they seem very reasonable.

There's really nothing special about the starter other than the mods to make it marine. In other words, you most likely don't need anything specific to make it fit a US marine 351 or an old Crusader 351. It is the 351 aspects and how it is mounted that are the driving factors
