I have a 1988 Johnson 120 VRO and the VRO went south, so I installed a new fuel pump on it with out the VRO cause I was premixing anyway. My problem is now the motor is stuck in limp mode (2500 RPM max). All sensors test good, new power pak, new stator, and new timer base installed and still in limp model. Cannot figure out the problem unless it is the purple wire for low oil causing the limp mode. Can anyone help
