hi i have bought a yamaha malta 1999 model when i bought it the seller said he thought it was a 3hp but was not sure could anyone tell me the hp the serial no is 6LS/S/ 074976 (U) in the bottom corner

Hey Ian,

If you give the decal a wipe so you can get a better look at it, I think you will find it says "6L5" which is/was the Yami code for the 3 horsepower Malta models.

And the "U" makes it a 1999 model...
