Idle screw on 1988 Evinrude VRO 60hp

Where is the idle screw located on a 1988 Evinrude VRO 60? My tachometer doesn't work and I used a laser tach on it and it showed it was running at 1050 to 1100. I have a book from seloc but it isn't very helpful. I am working to get the tach going. Thanks for any help in advance.

the idle screw is not on the carbs, it's on the stb side of the motor, it adj's the idle speed of all three carbs.

If you are checking the idle while it is running on muffs, that's about right.
You need to set the idle with the boat in the water and the engine in gear. Probably about 650-700 RPM.
