There is a couple of vaccum lines at the bottom of the crankcase and they are leaking a little bit of fuel. The engine runs fine, just interested, maybe an easy fix. Could it be because i run this old motor a little rich?

Running it rich should not make fuel lines corrode any more than normal. I have a 76 40hp, I know the lines you are talking about. they are tiny in diameter, but you might be able to replace them with weedeater/chainsaw fuel lines, I don't know, i have never tried. i am sure you can order OMC replacements. Just be prepaired to pay way too much for a little bitty part like normal.

These lines run from the bottom of the crankcase up to the side of the crankcase, to small to be any kind of fuel line so why is there fuel in what i think is a vaccum line?
