carb issue???

hi there, any help appreciated here. I have a yamaha 70hp 2-stroke, only lately have i had this problem where the engine starts fine, however when i crank it into gear it cuts out and a air hiss sound comes from the outboard. I then have to pump the throttle up and down to get any power...once power is there the outboard kicks in and works great. Have just changed sparkplugs, (problem there before sparkplug change as well)..

If it is a carb prob, anyone know of a simple step by step procedure to cleaning them (website or anything) ...(ive never done it before and i dont wanna stuff it up...woulld take it to a mechanic but they charge quite a lot and also they cant do it for weeks).

you need to get a manual for the motor, it will tell you step by step how to do a crab job.
