Will first assume you have checked the fluid level. Although a lack of fluid would indicate a leak somewhere, simply refilling it and giving it a bit to see how long it takes to act up again might point to an external "leak" rather than a defective internal component.

If you don't readily see fluid leaking from somewhere you have an internal seal or valve that is no longer doing it's job.

If you plan on getting into the guts of a hydraulic system you should first obtain the factory service manual for your model - otherwise, take it to a shop.

A couple diagrams and a "few tips" are not sufficient to tear down a T/T unit - you really need the service manual for that job...
