Please help!!!!! what oil should i use????????????????????

I have a 1965 evinrude fleetwin 2 stroke and was give the initial gallon of oil from guy i purchased it from but now im out and need some for tomorrow. do I have to use evinrude xd30 or can i use some other 2 stroke oil. i know it should be 24:1 or 16:1. this is my first boat not tring to tear anything up............

You can use any 2 stroke outboard engine oil with a TCW2 or TCW3 specification

However i am having difficulty with your engine identity. Are you sure this is a 1965 engine? What is the HP and model number?

It is important because engines from 1964 onwards mostly run on 50:1. From 1959 to 1963 24:1 and 20:1 prior to 1959

Did you perhaps mean 1956 ?

one of the easy things i tend to remember,from all the older guys,...of which,..i am now one,......was......double line--double oil......single line,....50 to one.....
