engine alarm at idle

The engine alarm in my 100 4 stroke. Just started goin off while in idle. Any help would be appreciated. I'm thinking the empeller?

If the impeller is more than 2 years old that's a good place to start. Also either test or replace the thermostats - those wear out too...
