Hi, my first post here spent 1 hour searching for answer but ill post a new thread instead..
Bought my first boat ever 1,5week ago, Four winns 205 with the yamaha motor,
It worked just fine until a few days later then in the middle of the lake vättern in sweden I heard a loud "bang",
We managed to drive it very slowly, when you give it to much gas it starts to vibrate, alot, the whole engine...
When I dont have any gear in and give it gas it seems to be fine..
Now the mechanic wont be able to see it in a few weeks,
and im desperate to know whats wrong,
Ive had some idea´s from other ppl in sweden,
*Water in the tank causes the cylinder(s) to make the engine vibrate (tho one guy said that if that was the case the engine shouldn´t had "exploded" that day) No sound should appead in that case he says....
*The cdi box is out of function, before this ride ive hade troubles with the and im worried that might had put the cdi out of function..
*mechanic problem, that one or more cylinders have broken....
Im hoping for anything but the mechanic one... Wouldnt be to funny
Im still hoping that it might be a "small" problem and im really happy for any answers here..
We have checked the sparks they seem ok, tommorrow we´ll do a cylinder compression test..
Ill try to get a movie from the engine in action for later today,
