Hi,
I have a 1998 Suzuki two stroke DT15C. I have been having problems with
water getting into the block. I also found oil residue in the rinse water.
It looks like the lower crank shaft seal is blown. Is this a common problem with this motor? If I go into it to replace the lower seal should I replace the
upper seal as well? Are there other seals that would need replacement?
Is there a complete seal kit for this engine?
I plan to replace the water pump while I am at it. Any help is appreciated.
This has been a sweet engine up to now.

Well after 3 months of waiting to get some repair work done I finally did it my self. I pulled the power head and tore it down.
My problem turned out to be an exhaust plate that had been totally eaten through with corrosion. So with a couple of new
plates and a gasket set I now have a great running motor.
