I have a 3hp elgin (1964&

I have a 3hp elgin (1964) and a 7hp -2cyl. green elgin (year unknown). Neither is running and I have started to tinker with them. I have cleaned up carbs and got spark from the 3hp after working on the points. Anyone have any idea what these are worth ($) selling. Running $______ or parts$_______?

" Old outboards are hard to get rid of. Even if you can find a buyer, you will probably get less than you want. BUT, antique collecters sometimes pay 3 or 4 hundred for them.(Outboards that are running are worth more than that if you need one!) "
