150TXRB will not fill oil tank.
Engine mounted oil tank will not fill. Either Auto or with the switch on the back of the motor.

Alarm sounds and engine cuts out when oil level is low so we know the float switch is good.

We replaced the remote tank pump and when jumpered directly to the battery it pumps like crazy and will overflow the tank, so we know that pump is good and the lines are good.

What's left? Is there a schematic and TS guide for this issue?

just a thought for you. at yamaha technical training we spent three days on that problem there are three positions on that float switch.... just because the no oil is working doesnt mean the middle position is. this is the one that tells the pump to refill it.. is also what the manual switch next to the tank on the engine simulates and the top position shuts off the pump. see if you cant get your hands on a good shop manual, this will give you the values to check the float switch with a fluke 73 multimeter good luck
 
We are a Mercury dealer, don't have any Yamaha manuals. Anyone on here have the manuals that can give me the readings?
