Outdrive Question

I have recently had the power head rebuilt and I have been in the process of breaking in the power with a 25/1 ratio, however I have noticed oil seeping form the holes shown. I noticed I had the fuel line hooked up while sitting.

What are the holes for and where do they lead too. J110TLCEM 1989

Wrong forum...... However, those are simply drain holes needed for units that might encounter freezing whether. Without those drains, ice would destroy the lower unit.
 
Yep.... Right on Boobie. Wrong wording..... I overlooked the model number, just caught the "outdrive" notice. 1989 110hp Johnson.
