I was thinking of installing a adjustable transom bracket on my boat to be able to test smaller motors that I work on. My boat is rated for 100hp and the main motor is a 70hp. Do those brackets work good and is it comfortable. Do you think this is a good idea for testing motors. My boat is a long shaft and the motors I work on are mostly short shafts. Is a jon boat a much better way to go ?
