can i put the lower seal in by turnin the outboard upside down it looks like the case splits at bottom that holds the prop shaft and gears or atleast turn it horizontal ant helt appreciated

Splitting the gear case will be needed to replace the prop shaft seal and o-ring along with the spaghetti seal. But you still need to drop the lower unit to replace the drive shaft seal and the shift rod seal. Before you put it all back together check the gears and dog for wear. Coat the joining surfaces and the screws with 3M 847 or Permetex Aviation. Use it on the new seals before putting them in. Don't use silicone. It just makes a mess and doesn't hold up long.
