We are having trouble with our port engine. It is losing power and surging back when we reach 2700rpms. It does fine once we get to 3400 rpms or so. The other engine does fine. We have done all of the filter cleaning, and after cooler cleaning, turbo is spinning freely, computers and outboards are newly replaced...help. It seems that the port blower is disengaging too soon and not synchronized with the other one. Has anyone got any ideas?:confused: only 1600 hours on our 2003 volvo penta kad 300.

Rough and tumble -Had a similair problem where the engine would go to 2600/ 2700 RPM's and the turbo would kick in and out until you had it at full trottle. Replaced the turbo and everything is fine.
