volvo penta 2003T tachometer

I have a Volvo penta 3 cylinder turbo diesel 2003T marine engine. My tachometer has given up, i need to replace it but Volvo charge around 300 euro's for a new part. is there a generic part or another make i can use that would be compatible IE vdo????
 
I replaced mine long ago with a VDO#430007, but don't know what their current equivalent is. But the tach is a VDO.
