1990 Merc 115 prop

I recently bought a boat with a 1990 115 Merc. The prop needs replacing. What prop do I need? Are the specs the same for Aluminum and Stainless?

"what prop do you need"?

That depends.

If the prop that is currently there was running fine (motor was getting into it's wot range and otherwise performing well to your style of boating), then you can take the numbers from the current prop.

In the case of a 115, an aluminum and stainless will run so close in comparison that you could use the same pitch/diameter for either.

If you don't know whether the current prop is/was suitable, then we need alot more information to try and determine the numbers for you...
