Internal difference between CW and CCW Lower Unit?

For a 1999 OX66 250HP lower unit: I have a good spare CCW (LH) lower unit, and a CW (RH) with a broken prop shaft. Can I fix the broken one with the good RH parts? Are the gears and shaft the same?
 
all you have to do is swap them if the LH is good and complete. just dont forget LH prop other wise fwd is reverse. but if you have proper yammy tools and like getting in there the prop shafts are the same as long as you only use the shaft and dont mix up the gears
 
Actually, after looking at the diagrams and parts lists, I have concluded that the RH and LH are IDENTICAL. It appears that you simply have to remove the shift shaft, turn 180 degrees, and reinstall. Can anyone confirm this?

I couldn't use as-is, because I'd have two LH motors.
