Engine ran perfectly when stored, new plugs, filter, gas clean...what next?

Most likely flawed component = Fouled Carburetor.

If you have compression and spark, clean the carburetor(s).

Is this your 1st time trying to start this motor after a winter storage?
Is this motor equipped with choke plates of a primer?
