Steering link rod/drag link

My Yamaha 60 4 stroke turns more one way than the other on full lock. Is this normal.?
My push/pull steering rod operates correctly over its full range, and the only way i can think of to correct the balance is a different length of steering link rod....but it seems that this link comes standard with the motor at a standard length. Can anyone advise me on my thinking here...?

Thanks.........John

if you are using stick steering you need to remove the engines tilt tube[steering tube]and install opposite look closley one end is longer more threds your cable must bottom out when tightened to steering tube. make sure nylon lock nuts are used on link arm there should be a lock nut on top of bolt that attaches link arm to engine and link arm to steering cable. Extra care should be taken when working on steering componets, if in doubt contact you local dealer this is a common fix.
